Ruta Travels Inc. ("Ruta Travels," "we," "us," or "our") built the Ruta Travels app as a commercial service. This page informs users of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

• Location data — GPS location used to detect your airport and show nearby services. Location is only accessed while the app is in use.
• Flight information — flight numbers you search or scan
• Travel preferences — accessibility needs, language, interface preferences
• Trip details — hotel and car rental information you optionally enter
• Voice input — microphone access used only when you tap the voice search button
• Camera — camera access used only when you tap Scan Pass to scan a boarding pass

How We Use Your Information

• To provide real-time flight tracking and airport services
• To detect your current airport and show relevant terminal information
• To personalize your experience based on accessibility needs and language preferences
• To display nearby food, shopping, and airport services
• To improve the app and fix issues

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate the app:

• FlightAware — flight tracking data
• Google Maps & Places — airport services and navigation
• Google Translate — in-app translation
• OpenWeather — airport weather data

Data Retention

Your preferences and flight history are stored locally on your device using secure storage. We do not retain your location data after your session ends.

Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings tab within the app. You may also revoke location, microphone, or camera permissions at any time in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Ruta Travels is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
